We could not be more excited to have Stacy D'Amico MacQuarrie fighting in Haymaker's For Hope's "Belles of the Brawl" event on October 10, 2018, and for choosing Marisa's Mission as her charity to raise money for! Stacy, a mother of 4, recently experienced firsthand how cancer can destroy everything in its path. Last year, Stacy's husband, Jamie, was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. In caring for her husband and being a source of strength for her family, she has already proven herself a force to be reckoned with. Thank you, Stacy, for literally fighting for this cause! We can't wait to see you in the ring on 10/10! Check out the awesome story by Butch Stearns of Boston 25 News!
March 2018
March is Marisa's Month! To celebrate, Marisa's Mission, we partnered with some great local businesses to offer a variety of special discounts, promotions, and fun events all month long! Proceeds from these special offerings and events were donated to help support our mission to help cancer patients and their families lessen their stress and financial burdens. Check out this great video clip from Sheehan Personal Training to learn a bit about us and the special "Sweat & Sip" event they are hosting for us in March.

Spreading Christmas cheer for Boston Firefighter, Glenn Preston and his family! Glenn is currently undergoing aggressive treatment for B-cell non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. He applied to Marisa’s Mission for the Home Assistance Grant, and we were more than happy to relieve some financial stress for Glenn and his family. Glenn is a warrior and a hero in both his career and battle with cancer, and we wish him and his family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and HEALTHY New Year! Special thanks to the firefighters of Ladder 18 and Engine 39 in Southie for welcoming us today! Also a big thank you to Channel 7 News for covering the story.
