Allison Eaton

My “Why”:

I have been a friend to the Federico family since I was in middle school. I had the privilege of going to High School and College with Marisa. I feel honored to be running the Boston Marathon for this incredible organization.
I lost both of my parents to cancer in 2006 so raising money for this type of charity is near and dear to my heart. I was never an athlete growing up and was always the “I Can’t” girl and ever since losing my parents I have been determined to say “I CAN” for all those people who can not! This is my FIRST Boston Marathon and I’m so excited to have this opportunity because it’s been at the top of my bucket list! PLEASE CONSIDER SUPPORTING MY FUNDRAISING EFFORTS!!

My “Why”:

I am very excited to be running the 2024 Boston Marathon for Team Marisa's Mission!

Running the Boston Marathon has been a lifelong goal of mine and I am so fortunate to run and fundraise on behalf of such an incredible and impactful organization.

Marisa's Mission works to keep the spirit of their namesake, Marisa Federico, alive by alleviating the financial burdens caused by cancer to patients and families throughout Massachusetts.

I am determined to achieve and exceed my goal of raising $10,000 to support the many families that are battling this terrible disease. Thank you in advance for your kindness, support and generosity!

My “Why”:

I am so proud to be on Team Marisa’s Mission for the 128th Boston Marathon!

Cancer has impacted so many people, including my loved ones. Many of us, myself included, know first-hand how emotionally and financially crushing this diagnosis is...

I hope you'll consider joining this fight and becoming one our team members. Your donation helps provide much needed support to these families and every single dollar makes an immeasurable difference.

With love & hope,
Kass

My “Why”:

Back in 2021 I found Marisa’s Mission when I was searching for a way to cope with a family member’s cancer diagnosis. That year I started running the Falmouth Road Race with them and never looked back. Marisa’s Mission has granted families dealt with a cancer diagnosis over 1 million dollars in grants - that’s HUGE! With the help of all of you and the ten marathon runners for Marisa’s Mission’s DEBUT marathon team we hope to make an amazing impact of the lives around us effected by cancer. THANK YOU so much for visiting my page and for supporting me on this mission! 💗

My “Why”:

I'm running the 2024 Boston Marathon for Marissa's Mission!

Marisa’s Mission, works to keep the spirit of their namesake, Marisa Federico, alive by alleviating the financial burdens caused by cancer to patients and families through out Massachusetts.

I was fortunate to get to know Marisa during my internship at the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority back in 2011. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to fundraise on behalf of Marisa's Mission and help promote the incredible work they do for families impacted by cancer.

Like so many other families, my family has also been impacted by cancer. And that's why I knew I wanted to run the Boston Marathon for an organization that helps families dealing with the impact of this awful disease. Marisa's Mission is a small organization and so you can have confidence that every dollar raised will have a direct impact on helping families.

My “Why”:

I am honored to be running the 2024 Boston Marathon with Team Marisa’s Mission! Marisa’s Mission is special to me as I wanted to support an organization that provides impactful assistance to families whose lives have been affected by cancer. I am running in honor of my family members who have passed away and who have been affected by cancer.

Thank you for your support and I can’t wait to cross the finish line with this wonderful team!

Rob Tepe

My “Why”:

I am running with Marisa’s Mission because the cause is very personal to me. Cancer has impacted the lives of all our loved ones, including my own family. Marisa was a cousin of my late wonderful father-in-law, whom I was never fortunate to meet as he lost his own personal battle with the disease, just before my wife Cal's 11th birthday. Seeing the impact cancer has had on my family motivates me to do everything I can to ease someone's journey as they fight this disease.

My “Why”:

I am excited to run the 2024 Marathon for Team Marisa's Mission. This will be my 4th Boston Marathon.

13 years ago I was diagnosed with Melanoma and just a few years ago had a reoccurrence. Luckily, for me, surgery, chemo and recovery has been relatively quick. I consider myself extremely lucky and want to do my part to help those in need.

Do you want to support families battling cancer?
