20025 Team

I am excited to share that I'll be joining Team Marisa’s Mission and running the 128th Boston Marathon in honor of Marisa Federico. Cancer has impacted the lives of all our loved ones, including my own family. Both my mother and father are cancer survivors, and from a young age I was able to learn how devastating this disease can be. Seeing the impact cancer has had on my family motivates me to do everything I can to ease someone else’s journey as they fight this disease. Marisa's Mission provides financial support of at least $10,000.00 to each patient/family battling cancer. I was first introduced to Marisa’s Mission through the Quincy Fire Department hockey team, when we collaborated on a cornhole tournament fundraiser to raise awareness and funds for families impacted by cancer. My involvement with participating in fundraisers and raising awareness has only become stronger which is why this year I feel honored to be running the Boston Marathon for this incredible organization that truly changes lives. Together we can ease the stress and financial burden these families are dealing with, so that they can focus on what matters most: their health and family.

I am extremely excited and thankful to share with you that I will be running in the 2025 Boston Marathon for Marisa’s Mission! It is an honor to represent a charity that is committed to reducing the financial strain that accompanies a cancer diagnosis, enabling patients to focus on their healing journey. Running and charity have been a meaningful part of my life for as long as I can remember and I look forward to using this passion to honor those who have been impacted by cancer. I appreciate the support from each of you, and I am so excited for my team and I to raise awareness for Marisa’s Mission as we reach the finish line in April!!

I am very excited to once again be representing Team Marisa's Mission and running in the 2025 Boston Marathon!

Last year, I had an unforgettable experience running my first Boston Marathon and was overwhelmed by the generosity of friends, family, and supporters who helped me raise over $11,000 for Marisa's Mission!

To everyone who supported me last year, your encouragement carried me through all 26.2 miles and your donations helped change lives. This year, my goal is to surpass last year's fundraising total and continue helping Marisa’s Mission provide vital resources and hope to individuals and families battling cancer.

If you are able to support my fundraising efforts this year in any way, I would greatly appreciate it! Any and all donations go a long way.

Thank you all in advance for your kindness, support and generosity! Looking forward to seeing everyone at the finish line in April!

I am honored to be running the Boston Marathon for Marisa's Mission. When I first learned about Marisa's Mission a few years ago I was immediately drawn to their goals of alleviating the financial burden for local families fighting cancer.

My family and I are all too familiar with the physical, emotional, and financial burden of battling cancer. We lost my Grandma Trudy to ovarian cancer when I was in elementary school and my Aunt Hope to breast cancer when I was in High School.

My husband and I have ran an annual fundraising workout for Marisa's Mission at our gym Moses Fitness each October for the past 2 years in honor of Breast Cancer awareness month. I am proud to continue raising money for families in honor of my grandmother and aunt so families can focus on spending more time together, loving each other, and beating cancer.
